Thinking out of the Block

Back in 2001, I worked at the LEGO Advanced Design Lab in Milan and our mandate was to ‘think beyond the brick’. As it turned out, that was a really bad idea! But ultimately, this is what helped LEGO get back on track and re-focus on their core business.
