What Colour Is Your Brand?
Eco-friendly toys have been gaining in popularity in recent years and certainly Hape International is one of the market leaders in this evolving market. Through open discussions fuelled with prelimanary packaging concepts, we un-earthed the core personality of the company and expressed it in a set of brand values: Modern design, trusted play and ethical behaviour.
The nut to crack in this branding exercise was the priority between the core values and how much to push the eco-friendlyness. After all, a toy is a toy and it's gotta be fun !! So first play, second design, third ethics. Particular attention was given to creating high quality imagery to highlight the natural materials, bright colours, contemporary design together with children clearly engulfed in meaninful activities !
Idkid's activities involved defining the brand strategy, designing logo's, photography, photorealistic rendering, copyrighting, designing POS displays and the implemetation on the entire assortment.
