Havilla Children's Center
The Havilla Children’s Center is an organization working with neglected children living in the Kibera Slums of Nairobi, Kenya.
Idkid is the sole fundraiser for the school which offers education, healthcare, nutrition and support to children from 3 - 8 years that would not otherwise receive their basic developmental needs.
The school has 71 students, 6 permanent staff and a board of directors all working together since June 2008. In the last 2 years we have undertaken a series of projects such as the creation of a new school premises just outside the slum, a healthcare program and fundraising activities.
