Designing for children is complex. It requires juggling often contrasting variables such as developmental needs, parents expectations and tight industrial limitations. Functionality, styling, cost, technical feasibility, safety , theme and packaging are just some of the parameters that all have to work together in harmony to make a product successful. Over the years we've honed the ability to manage these variables in our creative process without having to consciously think about them (like driving a car).......So our minds our free to hunt for opportunities and we have the 'nose' to sniff out the best ideas!
